EasySeatingChart

Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of EasySeatingChart. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the service is, and your content

EasySeatingChart provides browser-based tools for building seating charts. The tools are offered free of charge and are provided as they are, without any commitment to a particular level of availability.

You keep all rights to the names, lists and arrangements you enter. Because that information is stored only in your own browser and is never transmitted to us, we claim no licence over it and hold no copy of it. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis for handling any personal information you enter, particularly in a workplace or school context.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it at a scale that degrades service for others, or to reproduce it as a competing service. Automated access that places an unreasonable load on the site may be blocked.

Availability, warranty and liability

Features may change, and the site may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Because your data lives in your browser rather than on our servers, exporting a PDF is the reliable way to keep a permanent copy of anything important.

The site is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the tools will be error-free or that an arrangement they produce will suit your circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including loss of data stored in your browser.

Advertising

The site may display third-party advertising. We are not responsible for the content of those advertisements or for goods and services offered by advertisers.

Common questions about these terms

Do I own the seating charts I create?
Yes. Your names, lists and arrangements are yours, and because they never reach our servers we hold no copy and claim no licence.
Can I use the tools for a commercial event?
Yes. There is no restriction on commercial use of the charts you create.
Can I scrape or copy the site?
No. Automated access at a scale that degrades service, or reproducing the site as a competing service, is not permitted.
What happens if I lose my chart?
Data lives in your browser, so clearing site data removes it. Exporting a PDF is the reliable way to keep a permanent copy.
Are these terms likely to change?
They may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top.
